Thanks to Rich, Paul, Tris, Jan & all for the reply.
That's very useful info with me. I felt curious about it, but I wouldn't offer
for the Beatties becuase I have 3 peices of Oly 2-x screen to spare. but if
John Hermanson do put lines on the screen, I'm very interested and I might be
buy another one from him, though I have some Oly 2-x screens to spare. :-)

I recently purchased a 2-4 screen from John at Camtech and paid the extra
$20.00 for the rule of thirds lines. I also have a Beattie Intenscreen with
just the center spot. I immediately determined that I like the 2-4 screen
better. It seems a tad brighter and easier to focus with my 24mm wide.

I don't have any Beattie screens, but there is quite a bit of stuff about
them written in the archives. Most who have used both say the brightness is
about equal, but the Olympus 2-x screen are easier to focus with wide angle
lenses. The Olympus screens are cheaper, as well. The Beatties are available
with grid lines, but if you buy your Oly screens from Camtech I think John will
put lines on any screen you order (at an extra charge, of course).
