Yep, the axe fell for me too yesterday.  I'm positive that it will be a
change for the better.  Maybe now I can actually knock out my thesis...

I'm aware of another list member who has been deemed "redundant"
by his employer.  Sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately, your
"new job" is to find a new job.  Zuiko playtime will need to
wait.  :(
