Apple did not like the change to Boston and told IDG, the organizer,
that if it was not in New York they could have it without Apple. IDG
lost the stare down contest. Apple finally said it would attend the one
in San Francisco with nothing said about the future. There has been
lots of speculation that Apple is not crazy about them. They cancelled
the one in Japan this year.
