Adspeak is sure an alien language. Under "The LEICA DIGILUX 1 at a
glance", the last entry is "Unusual scope of delivery".
What in heavens name is that supposed to mean? Costs a great deal for
its specs, or some such? Delivery available to the center of Borneo, the
South Pole, etc? I suppose it's just intended as a hoity toity version
of "Really Cool", or "Way garf, Dude!"

Only in the last two or three weeks have I seen advertised in the
Canadian
media an Leica M looking digital camera bearing the Leica logo and a
lens
with either "Leitz" or "Summilux" or both words written round the
front of
the lens. Whether Leitz is franchising its name out for royalities or
whether this is a genuine Wetzlar product who knows! The ad didn't go
into
these minor details.
