Yeah . . . I'm not afraid to firmly plant a large, solid stake out in the
field. :-)
With some of the good films Kodak has created (e.g. Verichrome Pan [now
defunct], Plus-X, Tri-X, Kodachrome, Portra, Color Metallic print paper,
etc.), there are other parts of the company, particularly their marketing,
that have an unbelieveably arrogant attitude that Kodak knows what's best .
. . more so than anyone else could possibly hope to.
How are they going to get away with it if their samples are not very good?
Good question . . .
For those who are grossly ignorant about photography, color negative and
C-prints, they'll get away with it just as shoddy labs do. Don't know how
they're going to get past the rest though.
