Not really. The economic life of OMs was defined by Olympus when they failed
to maintain the system. The useful life is as long as you can get them fixed
and film to put in them (and get processed). The life - enhancing element is
not limited by either.factor. Then there is the potential value (or not) in
the collectors market. Think I'll be keeping mine...
BTW, I was not impressed by the samples on the C*non site for this brick, so
I don't really care what a reviewer with an axe to grind has to say on the
relative merits. This may (or may not) be the best DC yet, but it certainly
won't be the best DC ever. How many times have we heard "film is dead"?
Still, for any list members on this side of the Atlantic who don't want to
pay postage to John L's address, I would be happy to extend the same offer!
