Not really equipped for that at this time. When I eventually
upgrade to something better and faster, sure. Right now, I can
make low/medium res scans available directly from negs or slides
on a per frame basis. Scanning could be part of an interactive
custom printing process.
I'm not trying to be a full-service lab, quite yet. I'm
offering specific quality services that you normally have
difficulty getting locally and that I'm able to provide with
consistancy.
It is difficult for the hobbiest to get into B&W these days as
the quality just isn't there from most any lab. I was using a
quality lab for my B&W and finally got fed up with the
lackluster results.
B&W, unlike color, isn't a "set color balance and roll" type of
printing. There is a huge difference between machine prints and
hand-printed proofs on real B&W paper.
