[OM] What's a "lightbrush"?

searching, I can't find anything that actually says what it _is_, though,
other than "continuous fiber optic lightsource", which hints, but isn't
really that helpful.

 The pages that might be descriptive tend to be in German, and I don't trust
babelfish et al for this sort of thing..
