Yes, with choice of center weighted average or various spot metering
options.
I'm not sure I understand the difference between it and the OM3, other
then the OM3 has a mechanical shutter...
OM-3 is like your OM-1n with a fancier meter. No auto mode at all. You
can do all the spot stuff like the OM-4x bodies, but must set the speed
and aperture manually to do LCD 'match-needle' in the viewfinder. The
OM-4x bodies set to manual mode act the same as OM-3x bodies.
