So, if I were you, I'd buy a used OM-4, and use the remaining cash
for another lens! (get the fabled 90/2, you will not be
disappointed)
I have the fabled Tokina 90mm/f2.5. The thing is SHARP, the
sharpest lens I own, hands down. My friends see pics from that
lens, and they are amazed. Great Bokeh, and for portraits and macro
shots, really hard to beat. So probably won't be hunting for a
90/f2 anytime soon.
Question::
Even with an OM4Ti, will I benefit from a light meter? If so, do I
want one with a Spot meter + light + flash meter combo ones?

I don't do a lot of flash, but it seems like a flashmeter would be a
help sometimes. I have a meter that I used a lot before my OM4T. Not
any more. Once in a while I take an incident reading, the one with
the little hemisphere, when there is no other way to sort out the
exposure. My advice is to get the OM4Ti and use it for a while. Then
think about whether you need a meter. My bet is that you won't. When
carrying a camera bag, less is more.
