Recently there were several posts expressing frustration about the
availability and quality of B&W processing. The following article describes
a digital process that may have some interest for some on the list.

The photo lab I use (Perks) is the only facility here that still does Black
and White. They are now installing this Piezography system with an Epson
printer so they can offer this digital service. Their web site URL is
www.perksphoto.com and I'm sure they would answer any questions you may
have. They have a very good reputation and I suspect they would even do some
work for you. I have no connection with them, except that they are friends
who manage to relieve me of some spare change now and then.
