Hey, Rich... I was on the northern shores of Lake Washington back in, it
must have been '78 or'79 when Chennoweth was trying to break the straight
away speed record. I watched him make about three runs, and then had to
leave for work (swing shift at the time), and heard on the radio as I was
driving to work that he'd blown over at about 175 MPH. As we know, he
survived that one.
You're right, too. I need to get down by the museum.
