At my cousin's wedding, photog was using D60. I asked him if he was using
microdrives, he said "not anymore...." and went on to relate a tale of how they
were great for mass storage but not being solid
state devices like flashcards, prone to shock (falling down, not electric)
damage, and how he lost an entire assignment once on the MD when it fell. So
now he uses the largest flash memory he can get his
hands on, 256 or 512, and shoots in minimum compression jpeg mode instead of
raw.
