JUDGE TRASHES PAYPAL RULES
A federal judge in California has thrown out PayPal's
mandatory arbitration rules, opening the way for
disgruntled customers to sue the online money mover.
There are more than 100,000 customer disputes pending and
the judge says forcing customers to come to California and
pay half the cost of an arbitration violates state Supreme
Court guidelines. The judge also refused to dismiss a class
action suit against PayPal.
