Right, I love the way some people advise slides for color accuracy, then
go off into long discussions of the different color/contrast
characteristics of different slide films :-)
A lot of people have suggested the shot was improperly
exposed. More people suggested it was over-exposed then
under. Over exposure seems a good explanation because the
highlights would have been blown and any gradation of
color lost.
Really unlikely that the film is overexposed. Color neg films have at
least 3 stop latitude on the overexposure side. Blown out or compressed
highlights in printing is much more likely.
