We've just had our fourth bear attack in the last two weeks. This was in
Yellowstone Park and the man bitten was a veterinarian from Ohio. His
partner distracted the bear and when it charged him he sprayed it with
pepper spray and it departed quickly. In a discussion a while back there
were some strong opinions expressed about the usefulness of the spray....at
least in this case, it worked.
Haven't seen Bill Barber's name in the news so perhaps his visit to the park
was less eventful.
