I use Billingham - soft comfortable bags. My smallest is the
Billingham Hadley which carries a body, 2 lenses (end-to-end) and an
XA with flash. There remains space for a newspaper, filters etc...
and notebooks. It comes in black, canvas or olive with leather trim
and is really insconspicuous. I have had mine for 7 years and I
carry it pretty well everywhere I go. It now has a nice patina to
the leather, some slight scuffing to the corners and the inside is
still pristine with the camera kit in great condition.
They are a reasonable price in the UK (compared with the US I
understand) their website is, I think, http://www.billingham.co.uk,
and Robert White in Dorset carries them and will export them less VAT
(17.5%) if you see http://robertwhite.co.uk. I have no connection
with Billingham or Robert White.
