Tamron also made the SP 35-105mm/f2.8 Aspherical, which has a very good
reputation (I have one).
The 35-105 weighs 624g. size 72mm diam x 97mm.
The 28-105 weighs 905g., size 84mm x 112mm.
The Zuiko 35-80 weighs 650g, size 69mm x 99mm.
So the Tamron 35-105 might be a better comparison to the Zuiko. Price is
much less, though.
