Is it even optically possible for something in the lens to cause that
kind of effect? If so, it might be obvious just looking carefully
through the lens or on the focusing screen. The way it's lined up with
the direction of travel of the film and the shutter makes it seems more
likely to be related to film advance or shutter operation.
With all regard to Kinky F., whoever he may be or have been. I have
encountered many dogs that I don't love, which nonetheless wag their
tails and do other related, but often less endearing, things when I
encounter them. Or is it only love on the dog's part to which he refers?
Food seems to also be sufficient to elicit eager tail action in many
canines.

Howdy all,
I really love my 85mm f2 lens. I'm wondering if I need to send it in. I'd invite any expert opinion as to what is causing the white lines on the edges of many pictures when using this lens.
