Yep, I tried this as well and did not see any change in focus. I will say that, like Dave, I like to "play" with the focus anyway. -----Original Message----- From: owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Dave Dougherty Sent: Wednesday, August 21, 2002 4:36 PM To: olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [OM] 28-48mm...focusing?Is this normal for this lens?<My 28-48 does not change focus as I zoom. With that said, I tend to "play" with the focus after I get the shot framed. So, if the focus were to move during the zoom it would be academic. Dave Dougherty I am new to zooms and I tend to frame and then focus. I can't imagine zooming without rechecking the focus. Compulsive I guess. -- Winsor Crosby Long Beach, California ? < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
