As I recall, a nickel is the perfect fit for the OM-1, 10, G battery cap.
On a fresh cap, the nickel will snap in and not fall out. So perfect a fit,
in fact, many Olympus technicians replaced the nylon tab of their "Official
Battery Cap Tool" with a U.S. Nickel.
