I have the 1270 and love it. The results are stunning. I would say though
that to get to 11x17 with great quality you need 4000dpi. 2700dpi will do
it, but you can tell the difference with the prints side to side.
I believe they are up to the 1280 or even 1290 now.
By the way, I have never had one single head clog, contrary to the other
post about the 1280. Can't explain the difference.
