It's VERY interesting that you mention your "high-end" kit.
<<High: OM4Ti, 24/2, 35-80/2.8, 135/2.8 Oops, no macro, but a little
wider range.>>
That is EXACTLY what I most-often take for a minimal kit. The zoom gets
750f the work, and the other two focal lengths allow the reach or angle
when needed. I find that the 24 is more useful than my 21 in most
situations. The 21 gives a very obvious wide-angle effect and can be too
wide for many people-oriented shots.
I might take a second body as a backup or to keep the 24 on too.

It is interesting to see the variation in cost and content of a basic
camera and 3 lens kit. Sort of a low budget-high budget comparison
for someone just getting started on the cruel road to zuikoholism. My
nominations:
Low: OM1N, 28/2.8, 50/3.5, 100/2.8.
High: OM4Ti, 24/2, 35-80/2.8, 135/2.8 Oops, no macro, but a little
wider range.
What do you think? Should the basic kit include an additional lens and a
flash?
