It has become one of my favorites for formal, informal and environmental portraits. A little extra length to stay out of perspective trouble with heads and faces, but not so long that I become disengaged from the subject. The "rule of thumb" for a portrait lens is twice the film diagonal and the 85mm is almost exactly that. -- John < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
