Bill,
Thanks for the advice. I do have the Shoe 4 on the camera so it looks like
a good choice for me. I have looked at KEH and the prices seem pretty
reasonable. I would definately like to eventually get a Bounce Grip 2 to
mount the flash when I have some more disposable income. Can the BG 2 be
mounted on camera without a motor drive or winder? The only pictures I've
seen of the BG 2 in use have a motor drive of some type mounted to the
camera as well.
The T20 certainly seems to be the right one for me as I have heard of
problems with the shoes potentially cracking on the OM-1 with large flashes.
I also don't want a huge flash for everyday use. I'm sure the T20 will be a
big improvement over the builtin flash on my Nikon as far as redeye goes and
when I can add the bounce grip, it will be even better
While I'm here, I'm also looking for a cable release for the OM-1. Does the
OM-1 take a standard size cable? I know some Nikons take a special size
cable, so I'm wondering if the same holds true for Olympus. Can I just pick
any old cable off eBay and expect it to work with my new toy?
Thanks a lot,
Aaron
