The R2 doesn't feel like a OM 2000 but of course it is
priced a good bit more so it should have better build
quality and feel. I think Cosina has the skill to
build to high standards but as you pointed out would
OM users be willing to pay the ($500 or $700?) such a
body is likely to be priced at when we can have our
present bodies referbished professionaly for less than
1/3 or even 1/4 the probable ticket for a new body. I
mentioned the diopter thing because that has been my
personal demon with my OM's, over the years I've lost
three (count em **3**) correction eyepieces for my
OM's when, with the camera around neck, they worked
their way up and off the eyepiece and quietly fell who
knows where!!ARGG!!! GREAT FRUSTRATION!!! John Robison
