Sorry to hear about the meter problem Albert. My
advice may seem a little late but after you've been
into photography for a while it'll make sense. Invest
in a handheld meter, one that can take reflected and
incident readings, although I regulary use two OM-1s
with working light meters, my Weston Master V and its
incident Invercone *ALWAYS* goes with me. I esp like
the incident feature, comes in handy with groady
lighting. You may also eventually purchase a camera
without a builtin lightmeter, i.e. an older 21/4 SQ.,
so the meter will be used there also, just my 2cents.
