Older non Olympus lenses will frequently have 4 screws
instead of three like all Olympus lenses. If you look
at an OM-4 or 3 you will see a small plastic button
inside the rim. This is the spot reset button and if
one of the screws is not smoothed over by epoxy etc in
non Oly lenses the button can be sheared off. Again
this is fixable by filling in the screw hole and the
lens is then safe for use whenever.
