An almost identical apparition appeared in a couple of rolls of slides I took with an OM-4 a few years back, except it was at the bottom of the frame, and it was a tiny hair. I had a bit of trouble spotting it at first, but when I recovered from "duh" mode and realized that if it was at the bottom of the picture, whatever was causing it would be at the top in the camera, I located and evicted it from where it had stuck just behind the mirror hinge. It was more pronounced with some lenses than others, but I don't remember now whether it was worse with long or short focal lengths Hope your solution is as simple.
