I'm planning a two week vacation to Colorado with my family in August. Any
suggestions on film, lenses, etc....? I don't have much, so the selection
is slim. I hope to acquire a 100mm f/2.8 by then. Thanks.

Disclaimer: I'm always joking
unless I should be serious.
Outdoor, high altitude scenery with lots of light. Super sharp and
contrasty ASA 50 film like Velvia. A UV filter might reduce the blue
in the high altitude shadows midday. I don't think there is a wrong
lens for the variety of scenery available. If you do not want to play
with equipment all the time, a 35-70/80 zoom, a wider angle, a
telephoto and a macro. Tripod.
