The Bogen 3232 does that. Simple, sturdy and cheap. B&H listing:

They carry them at the Looking Glass. A few days ago one was on the end
of the shelves by the window in the back room where they hang mostly
misc. light-stand accessories. I like mine very much

Hey Zuikoholics,
A couple of questions for you:
One regarding the Acer Scanwit 2720....I know that its a SCSI based
scanner, but does anyone know that it will work on a Mac? The BenQ web
site has Mac drivers for it, as well as the 2740, but the specs say
that it calls for a Windows based OS. I'm thinking of buying one, but
I'd like to know that it won't be incompatible first.
Also, regarding monopods....I've seen motorsports photographers using
monopods that allow the camera and big lens to "flop down" when
transporting the assembly. Are there monopods that allow this, or are
there specific heads that bolt on that allow this functionality? What
do you guys recommend?
thanks in advance.
