Thanks to everyone for the tips, I actually got back on campus in time to
read and absorb some of what was shared... Then I went straight to the
venue.
Luckily the lighting was pretty easy to cope with. I was able to pull about
1/250 @f4 for most of the performance shots. Unfortunately they wouldn't
let me between the gate and the stage (even with the press pass), but I was
there early enough to stake out a spot about halfway between the left PA
stack and center stage. Was able to work the whole stage with the 80-200
and get some crowd/full band shots with my 50 and wider lenses.
I just emptied my pockets and took a rough count: 2 rolls fuji npz, 4 rolls
tri-x, and 2 rolls p3200. Gonna have to mix some fresh chemistry for the
B&W and find a lab that doesn't scratch negatives for the c41...
I'll let y'all know when things get souped and scanned and uploaded. I'm
pretty anxious to see the results :)
