My understanding is that the cameras - and therefore perhaps lenses too - marked "Asahi Pentax" were those sold in europe. Much like some makers have had items marked "Honeywell ...." sold here in the USA.Regards, Lee I think that was true only for the years that Honeywell distributed them.
