I also shoot at 50, and almost always shoot +2/3 and -2/3 brackets, which I
think would be equivalent to 32 and 80. Once in a while the +2/3 bracket is
preferable, but the same is true of the -2/3 (which is why I shoot the
brackets in the first place). But this tends to confirm my own subjective
ratification of 50 as the proper rating for my gear and my taste. YMMV.
