Yes, I agree, except for me I have a 35mm scanner and the Xpan
with 45mm lens can be had for <$1500. The LS-4000 scanner
is about $1500 while the LS-8000 MF scanner is about $3000.
If I were to go MF, I would probably go for a 6x17, and we are
talking even more money.
