They said that it took 6 seconds to boot after turning it on and routinely took 10 to 15 seconds to save the images, good as they said they were. -- Winsor Crosby Long Beach, California ?I saw that review... the reviewer said it was slow, but I'd like to have seen some comparison info. I can't think of any ways to speed up the write speed except by putting in a bigger buffer or jazzing up the processor and bus speed, both of which would be more expensive and might be technology-limited. They did like the lens, and the feel of the all-metal body. -- Jim Brokaw OM-1's, -2's, -4's, (no -3's yet) and no OM-oney... On the opposite page there was a N**** reviewed for half the money with a big buffer and no speed problems. -- Winsor Crosby Long Beach, California ? < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
