I agree with others' comments about the linear pol filter not being at issue
unless you like using manual modes... in which case, you ought to be
bringing your OM-1. For film, I would recommend either Portra 400VC, or if
it's very dark and overcast, Portra 800VC. You could also use NC, but VC
will give you more vivid colors whereas NC is better formulated for
fleshtones. For slide film, I'd stick to Provia... but that may just be me.
It's cool and contrasty & will work well for seascapes.
For lenses, if you have a little time on your hands, I'd bring the 24/2.8,
the 50,1.8 and the 135/3.5. I'd also bring the 2XA TC for extra distance.
The 70-210 I'd leave at home unless you are a really big proponent of zoom
lenses. It's one of the Cosina made Zuik's and is not up to the optical
quality of the other lenses you have. You might also consider that by using
the VC film, you might be able to forget about the pol filter altogether...
that is, if you don't mind your pictures having some natural reflection in
the water. The film will usually produce deep, vivid colors without a pol
filter.
Hope this helps.
