what is AuctionSniper?
It's a web site (http://www.auctionsnipe.com/) that lets you
pre-enter your maximum bid for an eBay auction, then the site
submits your bid automatically in the last few seconds of the
auction.
This is handy because many people don't trust eBay's automatic
proxy feature, they put in a relatively low bid and then manually
increase their bid if someone outbids them. By not putting in
your own bid until the end of the auction, you deny these people
the time to manually raise their bids.
