So I think I got some good deals in over the weekend whilst prowling the
local camera shops (in Ottawa).
A 1-13 focus screen (NIB) $16 CDN (~10 USD)
A TTL Auto Cord T (see notes below) $20 CDN (~12USD)
An Olympus 49mm front lens cap $2.00 CDN (~1.20USD)
and a pretty good trade (in my opinion):
I gave up my OM-101PF (garbage compared to ANY other OM), a 50/f2PF lens
(also junk), an old Chinar 28-80 f3.5-4.5 lens with 62mm filters (P.O.S.)
and $40 CDN for a minty Bounce Grip 2 with the appropriate TTL cord and the
control cord for the winder.
So how do you guys think I did? Now if only I could get my hands on the
ever-so-precious autoconnector 4....
NOTE:
the TTL Auto Cord is Olympus brand (of course), but it is not mentioned on
the e-sif (?) The e-sif mentions lengths of .1m .15m (got one with BG2),
.3m, .6m, 2m, and 5m... but mine measures almost EXACTLY 1m. It is not
spiraled and IS NOT a .6 cord before someone suggests that. So what did I
find?????
I also fondled another 100mm f2.8 Zuiko & realized how much I miss mine. I
REALLY have to get another one soon. The twitches are already starting...
:( I should have bought this one at $200 CDN (IT WAS MINT!) (~120USD).
