I bought one locally for $299 last year. Excellent glass and moderate wear
on the exterior.
Excellent lens. I use it almost weekly shooting sports for the university
paper. I haven't shot any color with it yet (I hardly ever shoot color
film...) and _LOVE_ the wide 2.8 aperture. It can really blow out the
background and make the subject stand out. Overall, its much better than my
65-200/4.
