[OM] The Dangers of the internet and a credit card or Canon 2710 vs. 2720

I was wondering if anybody had any expertise with these two scanners.  They
seem to be similar in specs. Is the scsi version as fast as the usb one.  If
the newer one usb is better is it $120 better? $329 vs. $449. Hope some one
has some answers.

PS.  Olympus content that is the camera that the film will come out of to
scan.
