Am I missing something? surely, bubbles would cause no/under
development where they occure, which would reduce the negative density
and cause *black* specks when the negs are scanned. Didn't <sorry
forgot who asked the question now> describe *white* specks in the
scanned images? I suspect small particles of undissolved solids in the
water. Short of filtering all your washing and diluting water, or using
distilled, I don't think you can do much to prevent it - it's down to
how clean your water supply is that day.
