Actually, I found them down in the lower right... (Facing camera)
I was under the inpression that they were near the logo at top left.
Well, I'm not very good at impressions - am I? :-)
I never see the front of the camera - just the rear.
I wasn't looking there and, they had big lenses on them
hiding it. Ok, I'm out of excuses now!
The OM-2(non-n) MD logo is square.
The OM-2n logos are not exactly square - being longer width-wise.
And, it seems to me that one of them is less square than the other but,
I've made enough of an ass of myself regarding this topic already so,
I shant go on.
Interesting about the "grey market" logo though...

Do they have another plate or none?
I´ve seen in a old catalog that Olympus Europe replaced the 'MD'-Plate
with a 'VSOE'-plate. This stands for shting like: "full service Olympus
Europe".
And was introduced as one sign to distinguish "grey"-imported cameras,
because of the warranty.
