No it's not. And you are right: it's a little too harsh. But it was a REAL Fang
(for me)

Winders seem to be very little affected by outer wear.

You'd be pleased. It takes sharp images and is not bigger than a few Minoxes. I
also used it for slides and I found that it sometimes tends to overexposure.
This is a common experience. It can be managed with appropiate use of spot
metering, however.
