I've done that more than once, when I've forgotten I've got a film in
the camera or forgotten to rewind it IMMEDIATELY after finishing the
roll, or something similar. I've found that the last two or three shots
get wrecked, but the rest of the film's fine. I'd say most of your roll
will be fine.

The film might be slipping off the cogs. Check that the rewind lever is
turning fully when you wind on. If it isn't then there's not much you
can do but rewind. If it is winding on normally, then either you've got
a 24exp roll which might have some overlapping frames mid-roll, or
you've accidentally slipped a 36exp in there!
Hope at least some shots come out OK!
