heh, FIVE Alps MD-5000 died on is in 1 1/2 years. Beautiful prints,
incredible temperamental printer. They kept replacing it within the
first year. When the last one died, we bought an Epson 1280.
Still have a whole bunch of Alps supply :-( Anyone wants them cheap?

I was momentarily interested in a Alps printer until I lifted the
cover. What a Rube Goldberg device. I am not surprised they were
not reliable.
