I feel that the Bronica is quite handy. I have still to get used to
focussing in landscape (camera on end) without blocking the
rangefinder window with my hand or fingers; changing lenses is easy
and quick, but they are much bigger and more expensive than my normal
Zuikos and I still think of it as a cumbersome operation; and it has
great features which make me want to use it...
... but it is as a complement to my OM system which is handier for
travelling and has faster lenses.

The Bronica is a much smaller camera than the Mamiya 7, but it's not
much lighter. I'm constantly amazed by the weight of the Mamiya,
but the 6x7 format dictates a certain size camera. The limiting
factor is the height of the roll film + the top deck. The Bronica
is 1/2 the width, but it's negative is also 1/3 the size of the
Mamiya. I've found that the Bronica feels much smaller than the M-7
in use.
