===The Y-Mat 124G IMHO is too expensive given that you are paying a lot extra for the meter, which is pretty poor - I would look for an earlier, meterless Y_mat - will be a lot cheaper.==== Assuming the built in meter is matched to the lens how would one know the angle of coverage from an old sekonic hand held for example? Would it not be wise to have a meter that covers the same angle as the lens? Charlie Meter angles of that era almost never matched the lens. They were usually much wider and required that the photographer know enough to compensate. -- Winsor Crosby Long Beach, California, USA mailto:wincros@xxxxxxxxxxx < This message was delivered via the Olympus Mailing List > < For questions, mailto:owner-olympus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > < Web Page: http://Zuiko.sls.bc.ca/swright/olympuslist.html > |
