Try pushing the small silver contacts on the back of the winder in and out a
few times. They are supposed to be spring loaded with continuity between
them when they are at rest, if they don't spring out by themselves, that is
a potential reason. They hook up to the 250 back. Snap the contacts a
few times and then try the winder.
