Hey I know this should be off-list but I couldn't resist. In speaking to
some of the maintenance workers at several sewage processing plants here are
some of the things found washed through the sewers (picked up on the coarse
screens):
car engine blocks and other car parts
cast iron wood stove
railway sleepers
various pets
I won't go into the more disgusting things.
Common opinion as to how to get a dead sheep down a toilet is that you
don't. You find a manhole cover giving access to a large sewer, lift the
cover and drop in your sheep (dead or alive, it'll be dead by the time it
reaches it's destination).
